REGISTRATIONS

You can book for Cambridge English Exams through the Cambridge Open Centre either on line or off line.

To book on line - Find the examination you wish to enter on the relevant examination page & complete all the required information.

To book off line - Download & print the relevant registration form and provide all the necessary information.

In both cases you must ensure that you provide the following information:

  • The examination session - Date of the exam for which you would like to be entered
  • Your full name - as it appears on your Passport or ID and in the same order
  • Address - at the time of registration
  • Place of Instruction - The school/college at which you attend classes, if not attending a class then you must write PRIVATE
  • Date of Birth
  • Passport or National ID number - This must be the ID you will bring with you on the exam day
  • Country of Birth
  • Nationality

You must also agree to all the terms & conditions set out in the Cambridge English examination regulations which can be downloaded from www.cambridgeenglish.org.

I understand & accept that I must bring the Passport or National photographic ID as recorded on the registration form with me on the test day & I (or my parents if I am under 18) consent to have my photo taken by the centre on the day of the speaking test and/or the day of the written papers.

Forms submitted after the closing date will incur a late fee, please make sure you register before the closing date.

PAYMENTS

If you book on line you can pay using a credit or a debit card through PayPal following the instructions on the website.

If you book off line using a registration form, please send the form & a cheque/postal order to the address at the top of the registration form.

REFUNDS

After the closing date the local fee is non-refundable.

The university fee is refundable, if a candidate withdraws their entry on medical grounds or misses the exam because of illness. To qualify for the refund you must send a statement from a medical practitioner to the centre stating the reason for not attending the examination.

It is not possible to transfer the exam entry from one session to another.

CONFIRMATION OF ENTRY

A confirmation of entry giving the exam details will be emailed to candidates 10 days before the exam date. You must ensure that you are available on all days relating to your examination. The exam dates are fixed and cannot be changed.

PROOF OF IDENTITY

All candidates MUST bring their passport as detailed on the registration form (or formal National Photographic ID) to the exams, together with a signed copy of their consent form and a copy of the confirmation of entry.

SCHOOLS ENTERING MULTIPLE CANDIDATES

Download the Schools Off line Block Entry Form from the www.cambridgeopencentre.org website (from the on line registration option).

Complete the form providing the following info for each entry.

  • Specify the session (Date of the exam)
  • Tick the box to indicate the examination, you must complete a separate form for each level
  • Write the school's name and address and email address and contact name
  • Each candidate's full name (as it appears on their passport or ID)
  • Gender
  • Nationality
  • Passport or ID number
  • Date of birth
  • At the bottom of the form sign and date the form and post it to Cambridge Open Centre

Please make sure you return the registration form together with a cheque and the invoice sent to you before the registration. Cheques should be made payable to the payee specified on the invoice. Alternatively you can pay by bank transfer - bank details are on the invoice.

Please note: the documents are in PDF format, and you will need the latest version of the Acrobat Reader software in order to open and download them. This can be obtained for free from the Adobe website.
